About Us
I have been in healthcare for 17 years, and needed to leave that realm. My body (and mind, let's be honest) decided that I was no longer fit for the jobs. Being a Paramedic and Respiratory Therapist was fun, but my time is over.
I grew up in a troubled household, and never really knew exactly who I am. Now that I'm in my 40's, I am discovering all the wonderful hidden talents I never knew existed! After being roped into attending stained glass classes on Sunday mornings (BIG shout out to Stanford Art Glass Studio in Menomonie Falls, WI), I fell in love with stained glass art making with my husband. And, now that I find myself jobless and living in North Carolina I am letting my creative side take over. Yes, that picture on the web page is my actual studio in the garage!
I have also been discovering that I don't completely stink at yarn crafts. Especially when the pandemic hit, I taught myself how to knit and Tunisian crochet. Although, to be fair I have been crocheting since 2004 when my EMS co-worker Candace taught me. Oh, and did I mention I am left-handed? Everything is backwards when I try to learn! Fortunately, there are enough of us "south paws" out there now to really help me out.
This is my first time creating a web page and selling stuff online, so please be kind. I am a work in progress, and am open to constructive criticism. Emphasis on the constructive part! Please keep in mind that the cost of shipping stained glass items will cost more due to needing to really pack the heck out of it. I do hope that you find this page, and available purchase items, to be fun and interesting. Thanks, and enjoy!
